Way Out West is a six piece group with a unique and alluring sound that blends Vietnamese and African influences with jazz in a surprising and vibrant manner.

The repertoire extends the dialogue with notions of Australian cultural identity that has inspired the music of Way Out West since its inception. It engages with a range of communities, taking audiences on a musical journey through diverse musical terrain presented in an accessible manner that encourages new ways of listening.

This tour has been developed in partnership with one of Kultour’s Victorian Company Members, Footscray Community Arts Centre.
