Kultour presents Teuila Postcards across Australia

... a tongue in cheek look at the oppression and evolution of an island ...

Three tourists journey to a fantasy island expecting an exotic, blissful and dreamlike holiday. Behind the glossy tourist brochure façade Polytoxic unveil the cultural reality of Polynesia with an episodic ride of postcard-like vignettes through the past and present.

In a captivating fusion of traditional Polynesian and contemporary dance theatre, Teuila Postcards is a playful look at the oppression and evolution of an island. Amplified colours and glamorous costumes frame a seemingly simple yet clever and creatively inspired performance.
